Full Time Trading- Can you handle it?

It was early 2013 when I first started investing in the stock market. At that time, I really have no idea what I’m doing (even until now mrgreen Full Time Trading- Can you handle it? Silog Playbook ). I follow a lot of fb groups, participated in some of the discussions there, even moderated in one of the biggest group around. Who wouldn’t get empowered when you have the ability to remove trolls from a gigantic group right? Well, if you’ve been removed by mistake, I’m really sorry. Just ping me and I’ll send you an invite.

Anyway, back to the topic. Being an active social media person, I’m almost always online to perform my role as an admin and answer queries. Specially during trading hours. Good thing hindi pa nahuhuli ni Boss. As I lurk around, I’ve met new friends. Most of them are part time traders like myself, while a few are full time stock traders.

Fascinated with a potentially huge profit, should I leave my comfortable 8-5 job and join the full time traders club? is it worth the risk? Will I be able to sustain my monthly expense from my stocks profit alone? Does my winning rate greatly overcomes my losses?

Unfortunately, my full time trader friends were no good either when I asked for their opinion. Some said, I need more experience while others say go ahead. So I turned to one of my ever reliable online friend (sorry to disappoint guys but no its not the magical 8 ball, its Google) to help me answer this question and stumbled upon this very interesting infographic and I’d like to share this with you guys.

Until the time I read this infographic, it never crossed my mind how much time I need to spend to prepare for my trades. I thought, I can just select a particular time of day to watch the ticker then execute your trades and then become successful. Well at least now I know, I need more time to really prepare myself before I take the plunge.

A huge thanks to this infographic and I am able to come up with a reasonable conclusion.
